Mission
Go beyond traditional scientific research to educate visitors on the people, biocultural history, jungle landscape, and ecological legacy of the Amazon rainforest. Rather than focusing solely on ecotourism, we aim to encourage sustainability through ethnotourism by exploring the intersection of nature and culture. Through our efforts, we hope to build a better understanding of the rainforest and its people.
Ecological Legacy
Orellana’s Expedition. The big misconception – The amazon rainforest is not untouched, pristine nature, but has been shaped (cultivated? impacted?) by humans for generations.
